4-hour Sarajevo tour mixing savory and sweet tastings, old-world crafts, Bosnian coffee, and shopping stops for handmade souvenirs from $47.

“My travel partner and I were extremely satisfied with our tour. The guide was knowledgeable and since participants were only me and my travel partner, tailored the tour to us specifically. I do wish that included were more of “the secret places” to buy handmade items.”

6.🍽️ Sarajevo Food Tour: Eat where the locals eat

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 10 reviews · 5 hours · from $81

Sarajevo Grbavica food tour: 5 hours of local burek, soups, desserts, and icy rakija, plus markets and siege-era history.

“A small group of 4 of us joined Nermin for the tour and it a great time. Easy meet up, and off we went. He explained the where we were standing/walking and the historical significance, which I always find interesting. Several food food stops along the way, and all are very good. It was the right pace, and right level of description (sometimes in these tours it can feel like it drags on a bit, not the case with Nermin). We ended with a social pint at a nice garden pub. I would highly recommend this tour, it was exactly what we were looking for.”

A small-group half-day food walk through Grbavica in Sarajevo, mixing cheese, beer, sweets, and real neighborhood history.

“What a fantastic experience! Numa showed us parts of the city that tourists surely don’t visit. We tried some excellent home-cooked food, learned a lot about recent history, and visited the local football club stadium that had so much history to tell, had some great burek, Bosnian craft beer and some dessert that I’ve never seen before. It was some cooked apple with walnut cream inside and whipped cream on top! Amazing! I would definitely recommend this tour!”

Sarajevo’s Baščaršija rakija tasting tour pairs five homemade fruit brandies with mezze at local kafanas, plus ćejf moments.

“This was such a fun tour! Not only do you get to experience authentic old city establishments where locals hang out, but you get a fantastic introduction to everything Rakija! There's more than enough to sample and the mezze is delicious too. However, I think our favorite part was the company...our guides for the evening were simply delightful :) We had to do some time juggling to make this tour happen and boy were we glad we did!”
